Well, this year’s MacHeist events have concluded. Now that the “heists” are over, the bundle of mac applications is available, and I have no doubt that all of them will be unlocked. That means you can get 1password, CoverSutra, Cha-Ching, iStopMotion, Awaken, AppZapper, TaskPaper, CSSEdit, Snapz Pro X, and Pixelmator for a low $49.

Check out the list to the right for the retail cost of these apps, and to see detailed descriptions all in one place check out the Macheist website. In my opinion, the bundle is worth it simple for Snapz Pro X or Pixelmator alone. In any case, the deal is even sweeter because there are discounts for ordering multiple bundles. Order three and receive 1/3 off of the price, (aka buy two, get one free). And, if there is a program that you don’t need or want (perhaps already own), you can “gift it” and have it registered to someone else.
That being said, the offer is available for two more weeks, and so will end on Jan 23. Anyone want to go in with me and split the cost? The total cost per bundle will be a mere $33.
As a little bonus, there is one last free-offer still available. You can get DevonNote, Hana, and Billy Frontier by registering at the Macheist website here, and then clicking here, moving the man-with-apple painting, and clicking on the secret stash behind it.
Thanks to those people who put on the fun and generous event. As a side note, 25% of the money they receive goes straight to a charity of your choice: (more…)
